In conjunction with Junior Chamber Week, Junior Chamber International Labuan have successfully organised an educational visit to Gold Coin Feedmills (S) Sdn. Bhd.; one of Asia’s oldest and most successful feed manufacturing group of companies located in Labuan.The educational visit was made up of 18 people, consisting 10 JCI members and 8 non-JCI members. During the visit, they were taken around the feed mills and given a talk on the operations and production of the feed mills by production manager, Mr Chin Shin Siong.
Fellow visitors were given the chance to participate on the packaging of flour as well as tour the feed mill’s control room, where they observed a sophisticated computer used to monitor production.
At the end of the visit, the Organising Chairman, JC Kim Ling Kuan presented a bannerette on behalf of JCI Labuan, as souvenir to Mr Chin Shin Siong, who accepted it on behalf of Gold Coin Feedmills (S) Sdn. Bhd. JCI Labuan encourages its members to hone their leadership skills through the organising and chairing of events.
